Based on Judges' reaction, crowd reaction, complexity of moves, accuracy of moves, timing of movements, swagger, contortion, fluidity, stability, entertainment value, variation of speed, dexterity, quality vs quantity, control S is clearly the winner. Nico did more moves but got smaller "Wows". Even on this statistic S wins hands down!!!

Just my strong opinion here, but if you think Nico won either round, you don't understand the degree of difficulty of the moves S is pulling off, not only that but It's also about crowd reaction, Nico has mild to good reactions, S has multiple exclamations any single one greater than the sum of any of Nico's cheers. No disrespect, Nico did his thing and is damn good, but it's not even close. Where both Nico's performances feel similar, S's are distinct to each song, simultaneously being more subtle and using fewer moves while having a better feel for each song and creating all around more powerful experiences, loaded with nuance and masterful technical proficiency. He blew the other dancers away several times and even stopped his first routine short after it had been won easily within the first two minutes. Absolutely captivating and astounding artist! Even Nico raised his arms in praise at the conclusion of the battle. Both all stars for sure but between the two, S is on another level right now.

Exactly, and since this is more of an exhibition than a competition, it is purely for entertainment. And in that sense, the crowd is the judge, so whoever the crowd is losing their mind over is the winner. And lastly, if you want to know what moves were REALLY impressive, watch the dancers reactions! They are the ones who practice their craft and recognize difficulty and creativity.

I remember back then this battle was way ahead of its time in many ways, so there was a deadline for people to vote on the winner of each round. I watched it multiple times and voted for Nico... Since then, I’ve been trying to expand my cultural range in dance a lot more, and now it’s clear to me that "S" has some visually impactful moves, really plastic and almost elastic, but Nico’s performance over both rounds had a much wider range. (For someone who’s naturally flexible, it’s easier to get close to S's style, but to get close to Nico’s style, it takes many, many years of dedication.)

Yo S was crazy good but I dont think anyone realizes how incredibly difficult it is what Nico did. He connected every single move to the next and flowed all the way through which is about the hardest thing to do as a dancer. His first round was in my opinion one of the best ive ever seen. S was throwing crazy moves but Nico was dancing.

S is not human!! That hand sequence in his first round 5:07 - 5:23 is probably the sickest thing I've ever seen! He wins both rounds, for technicality, but also smoothness of delivery. Not to take anything away from Nico, he had some great individual moves too, best imo 7:44 + 8:51, totally on point, and hes a slick dancer no doubt about that, but he was out gunned on all fronts in this battle. The crowd reaction says it best. Just my take mind. Either way I enjoyed the whole video.

Nico- when street dance is so mainstream it starts becoming something totally and horribly NOT STREET and exactly what you see in pricey dance studios with a bunch of white and Asian teachers and kids/teens/ people and stats to resemble modern dance so much that it's almost the same. It's just so bad what is happening here. ..... But then ..... S- Then you have exactly what you would see in the streets!!!
