Yeah, and although Bowser is mean to his minions sometimes which is like a typical villain, Mario is also sometimes cruel to his yoshi friend (whipping, sacrificing) and sometimes Toad too (or either the clumsily throwing Toad and that is just on youtube animations and memes, and plush videos like Super Mario Richie). Not too mention that Mario kinda eats the alive looking stars.

To be fair, Kamek really is the true villain. Every time there's a boss fight kamek comes and sprinkles some magic to make the fight harder, he saved bowser and made him giant in nsmbw and nsmbu, and for all we know bowser doesn't want to be a villain but is under the trance of Kameks magic to fulfil his own evil agenda, but doesn't want to do any of the dirty work himself

I think Bowser may have learned his good parenting from kamek because he was raised by kamek. and I think kamek is actually also a good parent in a way because kamek looks out for bowser and his children like in paper mario the origami king he sticks with bowser jr when he gets injured. And in the new super mario games he helps the koopalings So he is also a good grandfather in that sense sure he taught them bad habits but he always looks after them.

13:38 I have two different arguments for that. The first is pretty simple, because doing so would raise the games age rating and Nintendo can’t have that in their Mario games. The second is much more complicated, it is no secret that Bowser is hopelessly in love with princess peach so Bowser wouldn’t do that to someone he loves even though princess peach doesn’t return the feelings. Remember Bowsers journal in paper Mario 64? After everything Bowser did in the beginning of the game Bowser said he hoped peach would like him Which is just plain wrong. Now that I think about it Bowser should seek psychological help
