This was recorded at Sibbles sessions in Canada....this is the best version of Bonaza Nicodemus ever laid down with the transition into Banbury Cross. Its different riddim than his other Bonanza. Rare this is. You hear him reference his ventures into Canada on some other more well known Jamaican tracks....but this work with Sibbles is what he refers to. I only know of this from a contemporary cassette tape back in the 80's recorded from a California radio station, that mentioned it. Bonanza mostly appeared on Jammy's Real Rock computerized riddim, and it sounds dated....This one is the real deal Roots Radics "Rock Steady Party/Sweet Talking" riddim. Much better to suit the delivery. Search for "Everything Criss" riddim mix #3 if you want to hear with Sibbles and other versions dropped on RSP riddim.
