This documentary is ideal for the understanding what the multiferroics are going to be. I am new to this field after watching some of the basic questions are answered. So, thank you.

She looks too young for pioneer in multiferroics. For instance in USSR this research was done in 60th and 70th. As an example you can check the article "Coexistence of Magnetic and Electric Ordering in Crystals" from 1964.

that's magnetoelectric materials. Multiferroics are abit different :)
