League of Legends is a competitive game that for the most part has actually been quite good at dealing with cheaters and hackers.
But sometimes, some slip in. In this case they come in the form of bug exploits. Although bugs occur all the time, sometimes certain bugs can give players an advantage. And certain players will try to use that advantage to get as many wins as possible.
Today we take a look at times when players got away with cheating for longer than you'd expect.

The main reason why Riot doesn't ban cheaters instantly is to completely learn about the cheat itself. They research them and find a way to fix them, and at the same time prevent similar cheats in the future. If you ever wonder why they usually need so much time to fix cheats, this is the main reason. Also it sometimes happens that they know the person who created a specific cheat(some Riot employes are ex-cheaters), so they contact them and talk about the usage of cheats. Several people actually spoke about this.

The sion thing has not been fixed, in fact it has become worse, even if you are not scripting there are some specific spots where you can hit to do a full 45 degree turn unintentionally

The transfer abuse is mind-boggling not because transferring resets mmr, but because there is a system in place in the first place that gets you stuck with shit tier LP gains making it impossible to climb. Why not just make a standardized system, where winning gives one point, losing loses one and 5 points or something like that is needed to rank up a divi

yeah It's really dumb how gaining the same amount as you lose is considered hardstuck mmr, mmr has so much more influence on climbing than how you actually perform/winrate. I had a 50% wr with camille but i gained 600 lp from that but if someone with low mmr wins 50% of the time they would derank.

Not agreeing with the current system, but the one you are proposing is probably even more terrible. The only way your system would work is if somehow Riot would pair exactly 10 player with the exact (or very nearly exact) skill level, which is insanely hard to do and would probably lead to insanely high queue times. The current snowballing type of LP gain/loss is fine as it is in terms of the idea. If you are a 50% player, you win and lose the same LP. If you are, let's say, Gold 3 and have 30 wins and 40 losses, then obviously the system is automatically designed to make you win less and lose more, in order to balance you out to your deserved rank where you would eventually be a 50% player. Same story if you are winning. An 80% winrate player at Gold 3 will be getting high LP for winning in order to reach their deserved rank faster, at which point they'd be finally getting to their 50% winrate and equal LP gain/loss.

Cheating is getting so crazy that I literally saw an ad on a video that's selling a script program. And it showed on a league youtube channel no less. The fact that they even advertise it says a ton.

The Sion bug reminds me of the Demoman's shield charge bug from Team Fortress 2, it is almost the same mechanic, charges into a specific direction until they collide with a target or when the user swing their melee weapon. You can turn but you hardly control the turn, you have items that can help you with turning but there's a bug where you can override the turn by adding commands as you turn left or right granting you full control of your charge, they fixed the bug but players found out another way which is using the controller movement.

Btw: Riot not only doesn't ban thesr guys, but also doesn't have a working anti-cheat system. If a cheater is banned, it's due to a very high amount of reports that triggered an analysis from someone from Riot. The anti-cheat system barely works or recognises a cheater, because it's very badly developed. That makes it very easy and common to cheat in LoL, no matter how little the cheat is

@@cristinaguzman1604 while bots are a problem, i don't think there as prevalent in bronze as iron but they still are in bronze. But Bronze is about carrying yourself out. Adc, jg, and mid are all good roles for this, top lane is the hardest with it being the least interacted with, but if you get fed you can carry your games

Idk I once abused an alistar bug (being able to stun using only W if you backed while in the animation) to win a flex game and I was scared all that week of being banned for using a bug in my advantage.

I can already see people getting Sion's bug ban unfairly. Way back i saw a video that explained that this Sion script is just constantly reproducing an already existing bug that happens when Sion's ult suddenly change directions and most of the time it F's you up into a non intented direction. Riot being Riot would not surprise me if someone got lucky with this bug once or twice and got banned.

I dont think Riot should ban people for using a BUG. Using an alternate program like the Sion bug obviously is clearly a 3rd party software, but I have seen people be banned for using the old GP bug that reset your ult cdr. That isnt that game impactful, and its Riots fault its in the game in the first place and they have not disabled the champion. Shouldnt be banned for something like that.

In my opinion anything that you can do in riot's game or launcher shouldn't be ban worthy, as long as you're not using any third party program it's just Riot's fault and they're the only ones to blame for not fixing it. If there is some kind of game breaking bug people shouldn't be punished for abusing it unless Riot explicitly states that you will be banned for it in the game/game launcher.

Yesterday i was playing shen and Rd my mid lane yone under tower, he was playing against yasuo, yasuo and yone had both 1 item (shieldbow) . Yasuo had around 260 hp while i had around 1400, he dived both of us under tower, i landed my E and yone landed his R, but yasuo not only killed both of us after being attacked the whole time by 2 champions and the tower for almost 8 sesconds but he never took damage below 10% hp, even when he was running away from the tower he took 2 tower shots WITHOUT TAKING ABSOLUTELY ANY DAMAGE.

its the hidden stats they have. you see it in aram with the balance buff so to speak but they have hidden modifiers in the game he probably had like a negative 50% damage cause the game thought it would be more fun for everyone if he won the fight not realizing its yone and he just gets stronger

I "abused" a small bug to win a ton of games, altho I don't know if you can really say that the bug carried the thing I always played akshan with lethal tempo and he had a bug where the 2 passiv shots gave him 3 lethal tempo stacks, I think since I always played him with lethal I was one of the first people who saw and used it, it was there for quite some time before eventually going in everyone's build and then being fixed

@@AlMeZero i do agree with this one, but that's still a player skill as you need to get used to timing it yourself. Pretty certain porofessor also tracks if you have the shorter summoner cooldowns as well from insight which you can't always be sure about normally

@@plusserx2 There's a pretty weird way to tell, assuming this patch didn't change it since I hadn't done this in a while. Just hover your cursor over a summoner spell in scoreboard, and it should have a lower cooldown if that player is running Cosmic Insight. I don't use Porofessor or any 3rd-party though, since cursed with being a Garena player (not for much longer, thankfully.)

Anyone else remebering the global Poppy Q bug which got those who had to play against it banned while the Poppy with 100 kills and literally ALL CS OF THE GAME got a without problem? IMO, cheating is anything, but litterally ANYTHING that has to do with doing something the game CLEARLY doesn't want you to do, and is DEFNITLY unintentional. The RP gains transfer is 1 of them so in my book, perma-ban any1 who did it. It should be quite easy to trace if it was done recently (Due to certain lawss in the EU yo ucan't hold information for longer then 2(?) years i believe, so that information would have been lost)

I used to script. 80% wr to whatever elo i wanted. The skill is in making it look human. I used super long delays and turned any dodging or whatever off. Miss chances were set to high. Never got banned even once. 30 a month but quit due to a huge ban wave and didnt want to risked my brothers account. They banned everyone via account logs that were on your pc. NOTE: If we formatted drives we were back and running again. Never had to do it for over a year. It sounds weird but scripting is easy, getting away with it is not. Plat player legit.

How tf is this worth 1.5 billion? Their only form of revenue is selling skins on a free game. They have no direct revenue, no advertising. They have 150 million total users and out of that probably around 2.5% of those players buy skins. How does 3 million users buying $10 skins = $1.5 billion? This company needs to do some explaining. This is a bad take. It’s not the players fault that Riot leaves simple exploits in their game. Players who exploit such systems without manipulating the games code shouldn’t receive a ban, but rather just have their rewards from the exploits removed/reset

My probably dumb opinion is If it is humanly possible to do it it should be fair game Yeah it is dumb and bad But if you dont script go for it I consider akali players worse then any bug Sooo yeah... don't blame the player, blame the game

State of Nevada - the two men were brought to court with the charges of cheating. The investigational report explained how to produce the bug, the jury acknowledged it, and then the defense dropped the bomb - "they were pressing buttons in a sequence they had every legal right to press." Nestor & Kane won. By this precedent, abusing bugs in League is also should be dubbed fair, as the players only make a sequence of button on keyboard and mouse they have the right to press

I understand the sponsorship,but porrofesor is trash,he doesnt pick the best runes based on the team/enemy comp,the builds are shit most of the time and ye the only good thing its the shared summ spell cd but its not worth having it
