I wish she'd been more receptive to his sardonic wit and allowed for more banter because I bet he had plenty of amazing, ridiculous thoughts to share. Raising Arizona is one of my all time favorites and one of his best roles, or my name ain't Nathan Arizona!

With only one camera this is how it has to be done. Watch the film "Broadcast News" and there's a scene where William Hurt does this.

My fave scene in when Cage makes it into the house where all the babies were -as makes his way into their room tippy toed to check all of the babies-trying to pick out the best kind of babe for his wife. How he really showed his comedic physicality while riding herd on the babes, keeping them from escape because the babes were going all ovr the place-just had me in hysterics, literally my eyes were getting all waterery for how hard I was laughing! "Raising Arizona" is hands down one of my fave movies of all time!! A remake would be pretty cool 😎 or what their lives are like now, each of the main characters are still alive to my knowledge..just sounds like great fun and super funny laughs would be had all around! Ok so,💫 that's just my wish! 😏Thanks much for this rather rare interview with a very young Nicolas Cage!

This lady loves him. She was also the best interviewer of him bc she is genuinely interested and enjoyed his films. I think this gets lost in the comments. I'm also surprised that there aren't more comments on this interview. This was when he was breaking out for the first time (not the last though).

Also, I'm drunk but the end is so weird. Is she recording a dubbed version of the interview in case her audio is weird or is this just a different angles without Nic's audio?

The end where she's talking to herself is just standard practice for interviews with only one camera. They edit it all together to look real slick. Daily Show would do this but act really outlandish when asking the questions compared to how they originally asked them.

Bobbie doing a bit of acting for this interview of her own. Very strange to not get the genuine interaction and it looks uncomfortable for Nick to sit there while she does this, as Nick now realizes that she has no natural reaction to what he was saying before. It make is look like everything about the business of Hollywood is fake and all about acting.
