id love to know what this song is about like it can sound like she kills animals (or people) when she has breakdowns and he has to bury the corpses in the garden so she doesnt see them and then she wants to bring them back to life or something. but also it could totally not be that and just like a metaphor for something

Well she references Susan Atkins who was one of the Manson girls convicted of murder. Tammy Faye use to wear heavy eye makeup and had breakdowns so when she cried the makeup would run down her face. Tammy Wynette use to sing about lovers. I'm guessing its a story about how she would have bad breakdowns after a rough breakup because she would put all her love into that person and it backfired.

I know this comment was made a year ago, but I'm still going to share my interpretation. To me the song is just a metaphor, I understand it like this: she sabotages her own relationship despite loving her partner, she "kills" the relationship and/or the love her SO had for her, but since she's still in love with her partner she always tries to "bring it [the relationship] back to life". They get back together, but she repeats the pattern over and over again, the "it's just how I get" and "blood on my clothes and my hands, I've done it again" lines just means that once again she did something to ruin (kill) the relationship and the cycle will repeat, but of course that's just my interpretation.
