Nicole is labeled as a “suppressive person” or SP in the eyes of Scientology , so members are not allowed to associate with her, even her own children… It’s truly sad…I always figured when her kids got older they would snap out of it and realize that any “religion” that would want you to be estranged from a parent is really bad…but Scientology has such a hold that it allowed Tom to abandon Suri. How could a loving dad just willingly choose religion over a beloved daughter who was 6 when he vanished from her life? Even if those are the rules, he’s so high up in the chain he could’ve refused and they would’ve bent for him. The one I have the utmost respect for is Katie Holmes. She did what needed to be done to save her child from the obvious harm she was witness to. She put her first above ALL else.

What a beautiful family that she and Keith Urban have!! What a difference in the bonds of this family unit vs. the one with Tom Cruise and their two "adopted" robots. He abandoned Nicole because of the cult he's obsessed with. He turned the two robots against their mother because he places the cult above all else. NOTHING could make me turn my back on people I loved, and their children are now adults, yet they still shun their mother. The cult destroys the brain power of all it's members. Those who escape it are the heroes. Tom also have no contact with his biological daughter with Katie Holmes because of his cult obsession as well. Katie was wise to escape his clutches before he could brainwash their child. SHE loved her child as much as Tom loves his cult and wanted to spirit her to safety before he had any chance to stop her. Both of his ex wives, who both deserved MUCH better than him, showed the strength and courage of their character and went on to live a healthy and happy life, leaving him and his robots in the dust. Tom and his two adopted kids will grow old, bitter and alone. Bless Nicole and Keith, Katie Holmes, and the beautiful daughters they have loved, unconditionally, and raised with absolute devotion.

She has briefly mentioned in the past that she still considers herself mother to the kids she had with Tom, but she cannot force their hand in terms of choosing to have a relationship with her, especially now that they are adults. Of course who really knows the situation lol. I will say, and this is just my opinion, it is definitely not unusual for members of the Church of Scientology to cut out friends and family that are not active members. It's not unusual for active members to alienate from friends and family that are not active in the church.
