The best Nicole Kidman film (not sure if it’s available anywhere) is probably her first, ‘Hotel Bangkok’ with the sensational (and much missed) Denholm Elliott), back in the days when she had red hair. I was blown away with this young actress I’d never heard of and remember saying “She deserves to go far”. She’s not let me down - though the ‘fluffy’ roles she takes on are too lightweight for a woman of her talents.

The description of the dog, "..like hairball or furball, puked up like a demon from hell" (sic) a perfect description of Nicole Kidman's character. And the closing words on the tv, after the murder, "... serving little Hope and...." This movie should be classed as a black comedy and a social statement.

'a hairball puked by some demon from Hell'' (to describe the dog). Wow! That is a fantastic performance by Nicole Kidman! The kids are really good too.

I've been contemplating the person & the mind behind the actor, there's the facial venire that's portrayed on screen, they rehearse lines to perfection adding vocal nuances, to then understand the mindset of the characters they play. But when they finish the performance & the money is in the bank. They decide to take some much needed time off, so they take a holiday somewhere hot, secluded & exotic, for rest & recuperation: Who are they really, do they have their own personality aside from the ones they're paid to become. How do they switch off to be their authentic self? Does that person even exist? I'm sure that their standby button, isn't always easy to find.

I'm sure there's a darker side to J.P it's his look, the way he glares at others, as though there's a raging animal that's kept hidden.

HOLY SMOKES THIS MOVIE IS FROM 28 YEARS AGO...HOLY SMOKES...NICOLE KIDMAN WITHOUT FACIAL FILLERS😲WOW THAT IS HOW SHE USED TO LOOK LIKE...😲... I AM SURE THAT SHE DID NOT NEED TO USE HYALURONIC ACID INJECTION + OTHER PLASTIC PROCEDURES BUT, IT BECAME A "TRENT" EVERYONE DOING IT SO SHE DID TO...TODAY DEC. 11TH, 2024 SHE LOOKS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN SHE USED TO BE BUT, SHE LOOKS OK...
