@@adamautumn2329 Apparently, season 2's director Andrea Arnold clashed with the producers (the late Jean Marc Vallee had to stepped into the editing room to fix it) over the tone of the season so i guess that's why season 2 was a struggle bus

If I’m remembering correctly, he only directed the first season, the second season was mostly directed by Andrea Arnold. Hopefully they get her back for season three! :)

​@@autumnsnow3568 I remember reading that they brought Jean-Marc Vallée back for editing (maybe reshoots too? I am not sure) after Andrea was done with S2. There was a controversy about it. Though I think nobody could save that mess of a train-wreck since it was doomed to fail due to script. I am also not holding my breath for S3, wish it stayed as a limited series.

@@marvina.-vn3ze Jean was mostly involved in the editing room, yes he had his hands on season 2 which clashed with Andrea's vision for the season. However, HBO and Jean did ordered Andrea for reshoots under her direction but also with Jean supervising it. Because Jean was working on Sharp Objects when Andrea worked on Big Little Lies Season 2. He went to Big Little Lies Season 2 once he wrapped on Sharp Objects
