How is this upcycling?

She's taking things you would throw away and designs other things with it that's upcycle AND she adds stuff to the shoes using other materials things that aren't needed anymore. Although I don't like that "cover" which is like the waterproof overshoes for cycling I think it looks strange and it doesn't say if it's even waterproof. I'd like to see things she's made properly more than for a few seconds. I definitely think she's talented and love that she's promoting second hand stuff.

Jesus nobody at this company will explain if we can salvage the quick lace without having to literally cut it with a scissors to change the laces, especially on the new mafate three2 which I bought 2 pairs for. No kits on the website, no instructions on how to change the laces, can't contact anyone except for the hours given. Great shoes, customer service and information on their product are extremely subpar.

I had the same exact problem, the laces are not long enough for my feet to be comfortable wearing the shoes I don’t know why they don’t make the longer quick laces like Salomon. I found a solution by cutting off the thread that stitches 2 ends of the lace together underneath the rubber pulling tube thing, loosing the lace by 1 hole, restitching it, the laces are more adjustable and the shoes fit me well now.
