This telemovela is the kind that grabs you and keeps you on the edge. perfectly done by the entire cast. I wish we could have some type of telemovela coming from Puerto Rico where I am from. Nicole was definately the best! I say this because she is so full of energy and I can tell she is talented. I would like to see her in a major roll in the usa.

I'm from the states and I don't know a lick of Spanish, but the acting in this show(la promesa) had to be some of the best acting I've seen, ever! American movies and shows are turning to crap but this show really drew me in and many of my colleagues into a story line that hits close to home for anyone who has a heart. After show sixty I wanted more. I recommend it to any American who is looking for something different and touching to watch.

Honestly, the acting in this series was astonishing. I loved that they used actors that were actually from Colombia and Mexico. Huge applause to the director! This was by far one of my favorite Spanish series, it draws you in from the first episode. The way the girls act and cry, its just amazing, they make it feel so real, they put themselves in the situation and act with so much emotion and pain its just remarkable. I've never cried so much in a series and just to think that this is happening all over the world is just sad, this series really had me thinking and praying for those beautiful women out there not only being abused sexually, but physically and emotionally. Young girls and boys being recruited by online pedophiles is just horrible, they trick these teens, they manipulate them and once they have them in their hands, they treat them like merchandise, like property and do horrible things to them. This series doesn't only bring great acting and entertainment but it delivers a strong message and that is just incredible. I was walking to my class the other day and i thought to myself, while I'm having a normal regular day, millions of other women and adolescents are being forced to do things they don't want to, they are being sold, sexually abused, physically abused etc. I rate this series a 15/10, amazing acting, great quality, they really did a great job with everything overall.
