Hey guys may I correct you. Mongolia declared independence from Manchuria, not from China. China has never conquered any country in its history. The Manchus were a nomadic people of Central Asia. Manchu is a very different nation from China
@afasdfas7 ай бұрын
Yes, indeed. China was in fact conquered by Manchuria after the fall of the Mongolian Altan Khanate to Manchus. Manchurians were able to conquer China partially because they incorporated Mongolian armies

@@afasdfaswhat u talking? Southern mongols (todays inner mongolia) willingly joined manchus in conquering china. But sadly, after that manchus decided to claim northern and western mongols lands. So they started corrupting northern mongol elites and set the war between northern and western mongols. However it took them almost a 100 years to conquer western mongols which ended in 1740. The Altan khan you talking about lived 20+ years before manchus show up. Make sure u do read a lot before typing bull shit. thank you

I hear Mongolia and immediately visualize riding strong ponies at full gallop on the steppes… 🐎 ahhhh I visited an amazing Khan exhibit in 2009 (either Dallas or Houston) and along with learning how to pronounce his name, saw leather saddles and even clothing that survived from his time!! That climate is so dry that it even preserved fabric for centuries. Sure, the swords and weapons were impressive, but the fact that there were still fabrics was astonishing.
