I am 10 years retail management. Across the industry tuesday is probably the best day to go for mark downs. After the weekend/monday rush, trying to blow thru stock. in my experience AD resets happen on wednesdays, as well as most shelf tag resets. this means you'll either have new products on the floor that are on ad, or you have empty shelves waiting to be restocked. When I buy the bread at Walmart off of the discount rack, I normally buy out the rack. I freeze them and make french bread pizza, big big sub sandwiches, and garlic bread. Just a few ideas for you.

I highly suggest starting to shift your mindset when it comes to food in your house. You are learning that you can feed your family in abundance for not much money. Start to trust that that abundance will show up in your bank account. You can buy what ever you need when ever you need it....that is a darn powerful place to be mentally and financially.

This has been fun. I am not concerned about money but I don’t want to waste money. I was so excited that I didn’t go back until I was out of meal items. I cleaned out my pantry and other than staple items, I only had a can of pork and beans and a can of mushrooms. ❤

The Cuties can get moldy super quick! I started keeping them in the fridge and they last so much longer. Are all your stores close together? My Aldi, Kroger, and Walmart are all on different sides of town and Sam’s is the next town over, so I would spend more money in gas than I would save by price comparing. Great job!
