u cant fast during your menstruation bcoz u lost lots of blood not bcoz it is unclean. it is only consider unclean when someone wants to enter mosque at the prayer place ✌️ happy eid nicole. u done good.

Its true that fasting isn't allowed while your menstruating because our bodies are is physically weak during this period (hehe) but you can still enter a mosque, just not pray (aka salat). Good job Nicole :).

Gotta say...I kinda respect u for attempting to fast and get into the Islamic/Muslim culture. It's a tough thing and it's amazing how your parents accepted a Malay boy as bf. In Sg many traditional Chinese parents would be against. But to say things in a not-so-nice way... I wanna ask, is it really worth it? I'm not criticising but just really curious. Because I mean you're a really good catch so what makes u willing to settle for Ridwan? As by typical "criteria" eg looks, financial stability, and race for this case, it is a tough choice to make. I have been through something similar (another race tho) and it was hell. Parents strong objection, getting judged by everyone and getting criticisms, gossips all over. I couldn't get pass all these. It affects me so much. Kinda relieved that we ended (because of other reasons) and finally have someone where people approve and support. Respect u for choosing love over the people negative judgements, over money, over appearance, over race

Fasting in Ramadan is not just about no food and no drink. We also have to complete all our prayers and read Quran, as it was the month that the Quran was revealed. That means apart from the 5x a day prayers, we also must try to do the extra prayers that the Prophet did. Also, every Ramadan, angel Jibreel would go through the whole of the Quran with the Prophet. It's really a month of studying the Quran.

Thanks for fasting and posting about it. The first step is always awareness and thank you for spreading that awareness. Many of my chinese friends didn't want to try cause "confirm die one. Cannot sia" ahahah! And really, despite how many people bashing on you for whatever friggin reason, i feel really proud of you! Non-muslim or muslim. Firlrstly congratulations for having such great discipline! it is one of the key attributes of fasting, to have discipline. it's not only about hunger., its about abstaining from bad things like gossip, backbiting., swearing, as you mentioned. it's nice to know that u tried to follow the impt things rather than just to stay hungry. Loved this video! Adding onto this, Ramadan (fasting mth) is also a month of repentance as we seek forgiveness. Some ppl dont understand that its so easy to sin..even littering can be a sin.. So we seek forgiveness and remove temptations through fasting. and Muslims pray through the night especially the last 10days of Ramadan. And lastly u dont fast while menstruating cuz u will be too weak. *thumbs up*

Here in Finland we fasted this ramadan from 1:40 ish to 22:50 something, a little over 21 hours. Alx it wasn't as hard as it seemed at first.
