This whole episode was so good. I just love Leanne and how she gets her hooks into everything. It's peak comedy watching everyone try not to laugh during that dinner. Also, looks like Maeve finally got her engagement ring. This storyline continues on into the last week of September so more screen time for Maeve and Nic

They didn't break up. They agreed to go to counseling by the end of this episode and like I mentioned, they're still together at the wedding which is set to air either late October or early November.

After several rewatches, just now noticing at 5:48 Maeve and Pele seemed to be having a little playful interaction. Super cute moment whether that was scripted or just Jess playing with the kid.

P in Samoan is very close to a B sound - Nicole says it correctly so when she says it it does sound very like ballet to unfamiliar listeners. New Palagi characters like Maeve's mum are more likely to say it like Pell-eh.
