A friend of mine caught me watching this video while just doodling a sketch earlier. They asked me, "Are you copying her or something?" I wasn't, but to answer their question I replied by saying this. "No, I've always watched her for the new techniques and inspiration. It kind of.. makes me feel like whatever I put on this paper took work and it was worth it." And oh my goodness it's true! I don't know if you'll see this, but you've given me and probably a lot of other people so much inspiration and it was one of the first drawings I was actually proud of ❤❤ Thank you!

Don't feel like it's vital to stick to a schedule if it's hindering your growth. You should change to what works best for you! Whether you make videos once a week or once every few weeks I'm still always looking forward to seeing your content. Your work is so inspiriting and beautiful! This was just fantastic! I love your work so much, Nicolle. - As for my goals, I have a pretty similar one to yours. I want to focus on me and the personal side of my own artwork. I've stopped doing pet portraits, because they were doing exactly what your schedule was doing to you - Sucking out my creativity and joy of creating. I couldn't experiment, and I was doing it for everyone else rather than myself. I'm excited and scared at the same time, but I hope it'll go well!

I absolutely adore the technique you used to colour her hair. Ive recently started to get back into art and experimenting with watercolours and im looking forward to creating my own work with this technique! I hit a slump where i felt i had to always be creating beautiful art but i want to be able to let myself fail and create 'ugly' art as a way to express and experiment. It looks beautiful. I love how you let the colors bleed out to create this kind of soft petal look. The gold I feel flattened the work slight but it's not bad. As for your work load be sure to take it easy. A work load that's too heavy will cause you to burn out, so don't forget to take it easy every once in a while. Your work is amazing I can't wait to see what's next, but sure to take your time. 💟

You've reminded me of something, TAKE ME TIME TO DRAW. I've been rushing drawings trying to get a sketch a day at least, but by doing that I'm forgetting to have fun doing what I do. I'm also going to try to slow down and enjoy the process of making art. Didn't notice that my rushing my own artwork was killing art for me. Thanks for reminding me that it's okay to slow down and create a beautiful piece than to make 13 drawings all rushed.
