I’ve seen so many live videos and though the same thing, but I saw them live last week and it sounded PERFECT. Idk if I got lucky or it just sounds different on cam, but seeing them live doesn’t disappoint regardless

His voice change was probably intentional. I noticed that he was putting emphasis on making himself understandable like corpsegrinder but since he (travis) doesn't have much experience with it it caused the shit sound

Hes getting older... the vocals he does are beyond easy + touring takes its toll. Travis has stated on stage that he needed a breather because some songs requier so much from him... besides nobody has come close to his level of highs.

I'm not sure what his rig is like, but it sounds like they recorded the amp before it hit the cab. So all you hear is the DI + distortion.

No his voice goes in and out. Extreme vocals are hard even for experienced singers. I've heard bands have nights well into tours that aren't as good as when they are fresh. Like any part of the body, your voice gets tired and needs to rest and that's what I expect here. This dude is a fucking legend and revitalized deathcore in a major way and is allowed to off nights without getting shit on.
