@@BriBee1235 I’ve searched them up ngl- I thought I was going crazy not long ago bc he’s shown a bit lower of his- idk what it’s called. His calf? Idk if that’s the word. But above the ankle and I could’ve sworn I saw the pics of his tattoos yk? So I was like “no they HAVE to be lower or something cuz I literally saw pictures” but yea, in some pics he posted not that long ago, you can see some of his wing tattoo peeking over his socks so that sorta had me like “omg okay I’m not going crazy then”😭😭

The Leaders has whispering in it, and another one with whispering is To The Beat right at the start, highly recommend 👌🏻 Fun fact about Work, the bridge at then end 16:22 has a bass line that is the same as a song called Eenie Meenie by Chung Ha, which Hongjoong features in 🤩

Seonghwa coming out of the golden egg is a reference to king Park Hyeokgeose, born in 69 BC out of an egg, as the legend goes. He was the founder of the Park clan, and is considered the ancestor of all Parks in Korea, Park Seonghwa included :) Also, there's an animated short on the Ateez channel where Mito comes out of the golden egg. In case you don't know, Mito is a black bunny character released a few months ago that became a sort of mascot for Ateez (they even did a Crazy Form dance practice cosplaying as Mito). The name comes from Michin (crazy) and Ttokki (rabbit), so Crazy Bunny. Seonghwa has even dressed as Mito at fan events and has publicized the Mito plushie a lot by taking selfies with it. I have no idea what it means for their lore tho 🥲 but it must mean SOMETHING that Mito and Seonghwa are so closely associated, even coming out of the same golden egg. Seonghwa's animal is a bunny so maybe Mito is his crazy alter ego? All Ateez members have representative animals, called Aniteez. Originally they were just emojis that they used in chats with fans, but now they've become actual mascots. Fun fact: Mingi's emoji used to be the wolf 🐺 but he decided to change it and now his animal is a baby chick 🐤 because he doesn't like people calling him scary 😭

I'm in love with this album because it has a lot of latin influences, each song has a different genre in fact my favorite is shaboom because it's a mix of EDM reggae and dubstep and I'm really surprised by how they put them together, and the last part of the song really messes with your brain

They added some 8d to that knock for Shaboom, it's eerie how realistic 8d audio gets. And they reslly are the MASTERS of rhe anti-drop it's always so perfectly rimes and composed

Mingi actually does do quite a few choruses. But it was more near the start of their career. Also yes! Hongjoong has quite a few tattoos! Like the one on his arm says ‘No one like me’ :)

This album has a lot of influences of Spanish, Mexican and in general Latin-American’s cultures, even some lyrics are in spanish just like in ARRIBA, so I’m glad you like the Latino vibes of the music 🇲🇽🫶🏻 And YEEEESSS listen to The leaders and TO THE BEAT! FULL WHISPERS🙌🏻

Empty Box and Siren are my favorites right now. *Subject to change based on mood. I hope Work hits big internationally… my kids will not stop playing it. If they aren’t playing it, they are singing it. It is definitely an earworm!

I love your reactions. I feel like I’m reliving my first reaction all over. About Work MV: I love how unserious they are while still showing their hard work has led to golden eggs. I heard from a Korean reactor the golden egg hatching Seonghwa has to do with Korean lore about the first Park coming down from the sky in a golden egg and starting the Park lineage. (I’m summarizing sorry for any inaccuracy). So that was a dope way to tie in the legend of Park’s with Park Seonghwa. I think San also choreographed the Dance break too! Oh and the sound is a clarinet even tho they gave Jongho a flute.

The Work MV was wild and I'm here for it. I love when Ateez just go out, have fun, and are serious about being unserious. So much was packed in that MV that I'm waiting for someone to do full video breaking down what every second means because our boys don't do things unintentionally. I know there is lore in there and I need to be spoon fed sometimes. 🤣 Maddox does the into track on almost all of Ateez's intros for albums if there is speaking dialogue. My loved this entire album, each track brought me a different feeling that I loved and I can't rate them on which I prefer more than the other right now as easily as I could on a few of their other albums.

When the WORK teaser dropped and I saw Mingi literally dressed as Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka.... I was like you gotta be kidding me. MINGI WONKA HAS BEEN A SPOILER THIS WHOLE TIME LOL??? Also no, Jongho is not playing the flute, but only because the sound is from a clarinet haha! Siren is my favorite track on the album!! It's just scratches the itch in my brain so good. I think it's outlaw's sister song for sure But Blind is a close second because Hongjoong and Mingi's rap in that song is so... yeah. Mingi's QUE BONITA ad-lib has been stuck in my head lol (Blind is for sure married to Arriba, and their kid is Django)

you should definitely react to the leaders!! wooyoung is my ult bias and that song just wrecks me every time they only have 2 full albums unfortunately lol and my favorite songs from the comeback are 1. Empty box 2. Siren and blind empty box is just my kind of chill music that I love to hear from any kpop group but especially ateez!! blind and siren tie bc I love them both a lot, blind has a latin influence which is nice since my dad had me growing up on that kind of stuff, and siren is just so fun, like I will YELL ringing siren when I see them this summer lol shaboom has grown on me a TON since the album came out already, I think it’s mostly because of mingis rap, it’s so catchy!! but yeah I wasn’t a fan of the drop when I first heard it, now I kinda like it tho anyways I really enjoyed this album!! I actually went to target and bought it today lol but either way I’m glad you enjoyed it too!!

Hi!! I love your reactions and videos, they always put me in a hype and relatable mood. I binged your Ateez videos (hehehe) and I noticed that we had similar tastes in regards to their discography. I wanted to recommend you some songs based on similar vibes, and I just also want to see your reactions to these songs as B-sides aren't that known! 1. TO THE BEAT (in the same album with THANXX and INCEPTION) 2. Outlaw (my absolute fav song of theirs but its super underrated ;~; its in the same album as Wake Up and Bouncy) 3. The Leaders (its been recommended a lot and it will not disappoint-same album as Fireworks) 4. Don't Stop (another underrated song that was released as a single) If you're interested in more of a ballad-feel or their slow songs, here's what I recommend: 1. Turbulence (is a very emotional song that means a lot to the members) 2. Star 1117 (this song is dedicated to their fans-Atiny, and 1117-Nov 11 represents the date the fan name was chosen) 3. MIST (this song is so good and so painfully underrated, Wooyoung really shines with his vocals here) I hope you are enjoying your Ateez journey! I'm glad you loved this one, I'm definitely in for more album reactions, their whole discography is no skip. By doing album listenings you'll also encounter multiple slow b-sides like Empty Box so that you'll get more showcases of their amazing vocals. As for the future reactions I have a suggestion, going with the albums and integrating the MV reaction to the songs that have one like you did with Work. The flow of this reaction was perfect, going with the lyrics video for the b-sides and the MV. For me it's definitely more cohesive than listening to random songs out of order. Great reactions as always :)

First of all, not trying to stir any drama or spread negativity because I just love Ateez. I just genuinely want to know atinys' thoughts on the line distribution of blind. I know that there's always gonna be a member who gets the least lines in a song and that's a fact. Also, the line distribution may vary according to how well the tone of a member goes with the genre. I get that. If all the members have 20-25 seconds and one member gets like 12-15 seconds then that's still understandable. But if all the members have about 15-20 seconds of lines and only one member gets LESS THAN 3 SECONDS then that line distribution is kinda concerning to me given that the member in question is the one who has the most number of songs in which he is the last place in line distribution. You all must know by now who I am talking about. It's Yeosang. Also, I wouldn't have been so pressed about it if his voice didn't go well with the song but his voice just suits this song so much. They literally made their other vocalist sing in their deeper tone instead of just making the member who naturally has the deepest tone in the group to sing those parts. I really wanna know if other atinys even noticed this and if they did what are their thoughts on this? The fact that this could've been their title track really scares me.
