I find it odd that NICTD has its own locomotives instead of borrowing South Shore Freight power. It would be cool if they used ALP45DPs for freight and MOW jobs. The ballast cars look a lot like those in Australia 5:14 all the viewliners are in Phase III

I know NICTD had its 1000 for a long time and just recently acquired the 1001 and made them wear matching paint. And good noticed on those viewliners
