I've a question. Do we consider secondary sales or offtakes while calculation of weighted distribution? Secondly, an FMCG sales manager knows the number of outlets handling their stock by review month to date sales report but how do they know the number of outlets handling product category and not their brand?

Answer to Question 1- Nielsen tracks the offtakes and not the secondary sales. Answer to Question 2- Nielsen also provides the total number of outlets of a particular category on a state level.
