Hi. Nice to meet you. This is very nostalgic. Many of the nifty Japanese amateur guitarists in the early 90's listed this guitarist as a favorite. It's not flashy, but fun to listen to using various techniques.

BARBEE BOYS formed in the early 80's. Originally there were only the four guys in the band, before they found Kyoko. They kept the name, which is amusing. They released 6 albums between 1985 and 1990, and their popularity faded. This was common for most of the artists from the "Bubble Era", that ended in 1991. They reformed and released some recent albums. They're a fantastic band.

They kept the name to keep Kyoko. She was from another band but Inamasa just had to have her sing for them. So he got her to join "temporarily". You know, so she'd feel she can always quit and go back to original band. Hence keeping the name Barbee Boys. As if Kyoko is there just for a short time. And then Inamasa just had to keep Kyoko busy enough while they make it big so there would be no going back for her.
