Ma si riferiva esattamente ad una donnna che io sappia.

This is actually my favourite song of Vasco. It is very sad, talks about a woman that has gone through a lot of trouble, but in the end there's still room for hope. Io penso sarebbe buona cosa leggere sempre il testo tradotto, prima di fare una reaction, soprattutto se sono canzoni con un testo importante, di sofferenza... Questo vale per Sally di Vasco e per esempio per Coraline dei Måneskin. Empaticamente già si potrebbe dedurre essere una canzone sofferta... e magari, bloccare momentaneamente l'ascolto, aprire una nuova pagina e leggere la traduzione sarebbe stato rispettoso per una canzone, oltretutto tra le più belle e sentite di Vasco, che a me personalmente commuove profondamente 🙏😢

Sally is a girl who has suffered a lot but in the song is not mentioned what all that pain is caused by. The lyrics do contain a sentence which is considered one of the most beautiful and meaningful in the whole italian music: "Perché la vita è un brivido che vola via, è tutta un equilibrio sopra la follia, sopra la follia" Because life is a shiver that flies away, it is a whole (mental) balance above/on the top of the madness, above/on the top of the madness. P.S. At the beginning it is not "Sally bonita" ("bonita" is a spanish word) but "Sally è già stata punita" (Sally's already been punished/condemned).
