Is pretty common for Chinese men to sing in a woman voice. Reason for that was in the ancient days, women were not allow to participate in the opera show. Therefore the male opera singers must be able to sing like a women if needed. If you do a search in this youtube you may find few of them . The only different with Zhou Shen with all the others is that he can sing in many different languages.

Not really actually. I mean sure I guess there are chinese opera singers that can sing the female parts in a opera piece, but it's definitely not common for chinese males to sing in a "women voice", and it won't be possible either if their vocal range is low. It's just that Zhou shen's voice is unique and super high, he's definitely the only singer in china with this type of voice.
