I've seen her live three times singing this song and although she doesn't completely turn the song around, she "plays a lot of different games" with her magic vocal chords. Comunque io ho fatto notare, in un commento, che un pezzo come questo, un’interpretazione del genere, non va interrotto varie volte. Per non interrompere, diciamo così, la magia di questa interpretazione. È abbastanza snervante quando la gente fa “reactions” e poi magari nei passaggi più belli….. staccano. I commenti, le reazioni li potrebbero conservare per la fine. PS: Notavo che anche tu ti chiami Elisa. Quindi credo che questo ti porti ancora di più ad essere fan di questa grande artista. ;)

@@aris1956 è vero, anch’io ritengo che interrompere spesso l’ascolto di un brano tolga un po’ la visione d’insieme e la magia che si crea. Questa coppia è carina, mi piacciono le loro reazioni ma lei interrompe troppo spesso. Comunque io adoro Elisa, al di là dell’essere omonime ☺️ però il suo nome, diciamo, è un valore aggiunto 😊😍

And you don't even answer to me, you just remove my comments, as if they were offensive... Do you feel offended by one who tells you who has been one of the most valuable of 1900's song writers ? Do you think that is my own opinion? Well, by all means it is not. And when Cohen says she tied him up to a kitchen chair and then she drew from him the hallelujah.... That is a b. Job or oral sex, Ok? Elisa rendered a magnificent interpretation of this beautiful song. There are elegant ways to convey certain kind of meanings, and great poets like Cohen (De Andrè is even deeper in his lyrics, already appearing in literature text books 40 years ago) have the ability to do so. As a matter of fact, listening and reacting to Italian music, without even knowing Fabrizio De Andrè , that can be culturally offensive... I acknowledge that being from Denmark you may not know about him, but it is never to late to start appreciating the music and lyrics of one of the greatest in history..... I say it again, this is everything except my own opinion... And you don't have to understand the Italian language, there are good translations everywhere. You don't have to make a reaction video either...Anyway, I"ll suggest you to check some songs of his from the double album recorded live in 1979 during a tour with the amazing progressive rock band PFM. If you have a bit of brain, you won't feel disappointed anymore. I apologise for the way I express myself, I would not like to be considered by you as being rude or arrogant. If you want to cancel my comment just do it... The only thing I'd really like is to hear from you a motivation. Sorry for the length of this message.
