so glad I decided to look up the endings in the end.. I just finished ending B and the thought of replaying through the whole game yet another time just feels completely pointless. Although I enjoyed watching ending E, it would've been nice if they made it more easily playable.. going through the game a minimum of 3 times and obtaining all the weapons too just to reach it seems uncalled for imo. great game nonetheless

Same here, just finished game with ending A and to play the game again for ending b and so on I thought to repeatable, if there were some way to speed up the playthrough then maybe, but I thought it'd quicker to watch the endings on KZbin 🤣

Pretty much in the exact place. Just finished Ending B, and the thought of doing everything over again for a third time is-nah. I could barely do it a second time. Like, it’s not the games fault-this is a 2010 game. And I felt automata dealt with this so much better

@@TheSkaOreo 2nd playthrough took a while as finding all the weapons which meant had to do some sidequests but i googled which ones not to waste my time, 2nd playthrough added abit of the othersides views, 3rd playthrough was much quicker i skipped all cutscenes and sped run it. i chose not to see ending c when you kill kiene, as didnt want to do the final run again to start ending e, so to save time i just selected to sacrifice myself to start ending e.

Not really. Alot of people reply games many times. You dont have to immediately replay it once you beat it either lol

Hey nice work getting it all done so fast, I just got A haven't looked at the spoilers because I didn't know there was more than A. How long are the other endings to achieve roughly? Got A blind in 14hour

For Ending B it starts you from the very beginning. Don't go skipping all the cutscenes as it does add some new ones. For Ending C, D, make sure to have a save file before this as its easier to chose the D ending then instead of starting over. D causes your save file to wipe out, after that with Ending E you have to beat the boss in The Aier to trigger the E sequence. Hope this helps!

Yep. I made the right choice youtubing the endings instead of keep playing the level over and over again. These endings are good, but my heart just can't handle replaying the same areas four times to completion.

I think Ending E Just sub-ending. I think main ending still be ending C or D which protagonist was lost or Kaine Died. So Ending E conflicts with Automata. Emil Ending. That mean humanity still have hopes to restore. Or the replicant remain until the automata era. PS.Conflict just like Digimon movie's Ending and Zero two TV Series's ending.

Ending E is canon. Without the Shadowlord every gestalt and replicant is doomed.

While I thought this game was pretty solid you got me fucked up if you think I'm gonna play through it 3 more times and nearly 100% it for a handful of extra cutscenes. At least ending e somewhat justifies a replay with all the extra content.

Dammit, so I have to play through B route again just to get that C ending for one cutscene and one fight.....no but thanks for the endings mate :) This game is pretty good but replaying it 3 times....c'mon, that's not fun, B route could have been cut cause I don't like when game goes, oh you killed the "good" guys, naaah, just leaves a bad taste at the end. Route A is great, ending D is great and Bonus Route E after credits would be perfect. Cut the B and C route and you have a better game. Nier automata made the same thing with unnecessary Route B and didin't like it there. Overall great game, great characters, fun gameplay but 70% fetch quests and replaying the game made it less fun sometimes. At least you can say their game is unique.
