(spoiler starts here) In the ending E, after Nier sacrifices himself for kaine, kaine goes to an ancient forest. After some struggles with some machines, she finds Emil and young Nier so they meet again. (spoiler ends here) But i don't know what happens to them until Nier Automata. I guess they die in natural causes, together and happy. ;)

That and he caused the ruin unwittingly. Perhaps those who knew didn't tell him either because they accepted their fate, or because they believed he wouldn't take them at their word. And Shadowlord? Well, he speaks a far different language than most.

so the shadowlord is the boy of the begining, that would explain to why is similar to nier and how he knows to use the grimoire noir

I cant be angry at nier or shadowlord, because what would you do or how far would you go for a loved one? if there is a chance to save them, are you ready to become a monster in another history? , I know what a person in this situation feels or may think, you are ready to go through hell and back, do or become whatever you need, just for a chance to save them and yes your being selfish, but mankind is a selfish species, especially for our true loved ones.

Since you're playing Yonah's brother here, why doesn't Yonah call Shadowlord Dad since it's the other Nier?

Because it's not dad nier, replicant dad nier and gasult dad nier are other timeline versions of replicant brother nier and gasult brother nier

Basically what he is saying is that Nier Gesalt is where you will play as a father to yonah. Nier replicant you play as her brother and things are more canonically lined up with grimiore Nier and other events. Nier gestalt (the us and eu versions) is still canon but in a different timeline or universe

Just finished original ver ending A , and not cried . Yeah it was bittersweet end, but stil happy end(from Nier perspective). Maybe when i beat all endings and fully undertsand what was happening i will cry, but not now. Basicly all i can understand know is all "people" who live in this world are some sort of androids , which people created to born again in their body someday. And that black sicknes which Yohna has is her true human soul which dies and so as the last hope for humanity to live again. Maybe , i just presume. I dont know yet. Correct me if iam wrong(but without spoilers). I just hope that game explain everything to me in next endings so i could not search videos on youtube with full explanation of game story. Sorry for my english.

Late but, I think the last ending is the best imo, if you read the rest, Kainé reunites with a sleeping young Nier with Emil. Kinda happy about it

Katana This one is the regular version. This Nier is the one in all the art.

I wish there were more flashbacks of Nier and Yonah growing up cause without those moments there's not much we know about their relationship and backstory, so their bond just feels a bit fake and not as emotional as I wish it was
