Now that brings back memories ... best job I ever had in the Cdn Forces ....Arv Crew ... Oh and the critics out there ... this is the best way to change track on that platform. 6 years as a tank maintainer in an armored regiment if you want creds ... Yes the process could have been smoother but this team I don't think has done this very often.

You say it, exactly my opinion. During my four-year service with the German army, we were often called a "murderer". Today, I assume that this comes from people who can not achieve anything in their lives and can do nothing with themselves and society. The same can be seen today at the climate hysteria. Children go to the streets and other uneducated and stupid people .... but that does not belong here anymore.

@tonbosma83474 жыл бұрын
Getting the job done asap is the main goal. they all survived, no limps lost. You are a driver , not a technical specialist. The only thing that counts is your own live and getting the tank operational is your insurance. Who cares about careless use of tools. Nobody wants to hurt himself and having the pain of loosing a limp. So that is the attitude in such a team. I really enjoy the magnificent team work. No complaining, not much talking, not discussing. They are all very aware of what they are doing and focuss on getting the job done. Yes surely not the industry way of working. Let's have a meeting and fill out the forms. Everyone wearing a hard hat, earplugs, safety-shoes. work-gloves and protective clothing. informed about the escape route, extinguisher, the number of the emergency line, where to contact the one in charge? O wait forgot about the particle filter because of the carbon emission and a filter for the hydrocarbons fumes. What about bullets and shrapnel or fallout/ chem or biological aerosols and what have you on a modern battlefield....lets have a meeting and fill out some forms? Call the emergency line and get the h&s safety officer in. In the mean time the enemy is already raping and killing the children in your village. Maybe this is not a war scene and hobby but they all have the skills and attitude, the competence and mindset essential for the job.

soo tank crew can't change tracks without side help? They must be fired from army for that and they trainers too. Also, new tracks have worst conditions except rubber part, you ask why? Because they RUSTED on STORAGE, they must cleaned from rust before putting them on tank, or they die at twice face rate, because rust and tank track are enemy. Anyway in Russian army NEW tank track always oiled and not rusted, amd crew MUST change they track by they own forces, because it is easy task. But if tank on they base, it can be upped by crane or just highjacks on one side and change tracks and wheels in not time.
