Those two blue flashing beacons mounted on the top of the cab are just absolutely useless. Their supposed flash is just so incredibly poor and pathetic, that you can scarcely tell if they have even been actually switched on or not. 🚒

Year & camera quality will not show the full affect the lights actually had but for the year the where probably the most up to date lights on the market......

The lights flashing on the roof are strobes. Early VHS and Digital film cameras, and even modern ones today, have what’s called refresh rate, which is light exposure and a number of other factors. Cameras are awful at recording strobes due to this. It’s very likely the lights are extremely bright and functioning well, it’s just the camera isn’t picking it up.

No Simon. He was guiding the driver whilst he reversed back onto the main road.
