Nifty Settles At 21839; OMC, FMCG, Auto Stocks Shine; Sensex adds 89 points | Closing Trades

Closing Trades: The Benchmark equity indices settled in green on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex added 89.64 points or 0.12 per cent to settle at 72,101.69, while the NSE Nifty50 gained 21.65 points or 0.10 per cent to 21,839.10. The Bank Nifty index dropped 73.90 points, or 0.16 per cent, to settle at 46,310.90. Among the other sectoral indices, Oil & Gas, Auto, FMCG, and Realty ended with gains, while IT, Metal, Pharma, and Financial Services stocks settled in red on Wednesday.
