And no, killing was not required for SURVIVAL in harem as hurrem supporters like to say (they can't say hurrem is not evil so they say well so is everyone else) killing was required to REMAIN IN POWER in harem. So it was never about SURVIVAL but always about POWER. And the level of inhumane nature hurrem showed in the series towards not just her enemies but even her own husband (way to go control him like a puppet to the point he kills his own son from a previous wife) and children (marrying mihrimah to a horrible man her father's age FOR HER BROTHERS, she never loved her son's or her daughter, they were just her pawns to gain power) is not comparable to any other character.

I pity nigar a lot..Daye was right about her being just an amusement for ibrahim pasha but she turned a blind eye for love towards him..who with his wife Hatice mistreated her all the time and blamed Hurrem for everything that happened bad to them. She too was a slave so people kept threatening her life, she was trying to navigate the treacherous waters of harem life. She probably said many faithful servants suffer (like María). Then she fell in love with Ibrahim. She shouldn't have but hey, I imagine it's hard to be a young woman and know you will be forever alone because you are a slave/servant. She made mistakes but hey, she still gave Hurrem the right direction when she was a feral newbie in the harem 😉

According to the laws of that time Hatice had every right to kill all three of them. But she killed neither her nor her child. Instead she found people to care for a girl. And Nigar is not actually all that innocent. She was constantly trying to get closer to Ibrahim and when he was sick and delusional she jumped at the opportunity. She was fully aware of the consequences, she worked at Hatice's house and Hatice trusted her but she still did it. And Ibrahim initially did not have feelings for her but Nigar decided she will win his heart over. So even though it was cruel to tell her that her child was dead but Nigar kinda should've known that this is what happens from having an affair with a married man and married to none other but sultan's sister.

She was technically married to Rustem at that time and not quite free to leave him. So she could not be reunited with her daughter. She was spying on Rustem for Hatice as well, the woman who originally took her daughter from her and almost her life. She did have an active affair with her husband after all. She should have just left Rustem. She should have stayed with the original husband as he was the only man in the entire series worth anything character wise. Not only was her child taken from her so many babies terminated and some of their mothers dying all against their will.

Ibrahim and Suleiman characters had monologues, I so much wish Nigar had one! Even in her last moments we don't hear her inner voice.
