The landlady was surprised when a large wooden crate arrived and was taken up to one of the bedrooms. Her curiosity got the better of her and while there was no one in she went into the bedroom and had a look in the opened crate. She said it was full of fire arms and what looked like some kind of grenades or smoke bombs. Don't know if it was true but there have been similar whispers over the last few years.

When I was a boy, my Mother was saying to my Father, I can understand why we had to give India its independents, but did we have to give them British passports , one day we are going to pay dearly for this (just look up what Government did this). I am now 77 and my parents long gone. Also a tory party got us into the common market in 73, I voted to stay out. Due to my health I doubt I will see 2025, just as well the way things are.
