I have a great amount of respect for Nigel. His time in Formula 1 was an investment in perfection. He made one of the most demanding jobs in the world look easy, from the stands, at least. While all F1 drivers are professional and generally behave that way, Nigel brought an extra degree of distinction to the sport.

Many thanks for this upload as this is one Mansell Documentary I missed at the time growing up. There are some great parts like him getting miffed at that BBC for not recording his Qualifying lap and seeing him with Tim Harvey and Laurence Bristow briefly reminded me that they shared the Labatts sponsorship that year.

Glad you enjoyed it. You probably heard about it but the FW14 Nigel drove in this race recently sold at auction. Probably the most famous chair in racing history

Funnily enough, just yesterday I bought the latest Motorsport Magazine which had a piece about both cars and the pros and cons of each (including John Barnard taking about how he had to fight his corner to get the semi automatic gearbox implemented). When Nigel had his Golf Club in Devon years ago, I'm sure these two cars were among the ones he had in his museum there now that I think about it🤔
