Since there's a long history of evolution and it changing, it wasn't just a chicken the whole time, it had to evolve into a chicken, which had to come out of an egg before the existence of a what we recognize as a chicken was even a thing. for the chicken egg argument i always say because of evolution the egg came first, a creature not a chicken lays an egg with a slight genetic mutation over time eventually an egg will be laid containing something similar to the modern day chicken (when just depends on how genetically you deffine a chicken) chickens cant exists without an egg but eggs can be laid by other creatures not fully recognised as chickens (evolution is a slow process with no defined tipping point of species changing)

Lee Know was right, chickens are the descendants or T-Rex's so technically T-Rex's came first but y'know what came before T-Rex's? The Synapsids, so as time goes back, more and more, we end up at the beginning. A planet of water, from that water, microscopic lifeforms evolve into fungus, that fungus evolves, so on so forth, you get dinosaurs, and from dinosaurs, they evolve into other things, LIKE CHICKENS. So technically, evolution came first. Lee Know was right, he just worded it that the translation made less sense
