Not sure I agree with Godfrey , that Lookman and Simon shouldn't play at the same time together. Has he forgotten how well they interlinked during the Afcon 2024 qtr finals when Simon assisted Lookman for goal vs Angola or recently the goal by Lookman vs Benin with that excellent assist from Simon. ..........If anything it seems that their understanding of one another and effectiveness has actually grown...see how they bond in celebration, you can see they really respect each other. The changing of wings is good thing to unbalance the defence. Lookman is more comfortable with wing swapping because he is two footed. Lookman, Simon & Osimhen is the way forward....Boniface is still not ready and Chukwueze is better from the bench as shown today...too inconsistent as a starter. The guys did well today and found a way. Next match try Dele Bashiru come in to replace Boniface and Oynedinka to replace Oyenka or Ndidi. Bring Ejuke later on to see what he can do...
