I’m a Nigerian, we didn’t play the match as if we were aiming for a trophy 🏆. We don’t deserve to win the trophy 🏆. Let’s start to campaign, all Nigerian blood across the globe that are eligible to switch nationality should start doing it now. Let’s a better team before the world cup qualifiers.

The coach could have played 433 especially in the midfield line up Oyenka,oyedika and Alassane because Iwobi is not a real midfielder ( try is best though). Also I don’t understand he the coach has the opportunity to go with 27 players but choice 25.

Osimhen should be ashamed that Nsue got the golden boot. His value will go down now and not that clinical. We did not have him as 9 to start running up n down the pitch. He didnt score the chances he had through out this competition,always running offside for both club n country. I love Osimhen n I want him to surpass Yekini , but man At this moment Yekini (RIP) remains the king.

I completely disagree with your analysis of Osimhen's performance. It's like you didn't pay attention to the yeye formation that we played all through the tournament - defensive and counter with zero creative midfield to supply. Through the tournament Osi was attacking, defending, and a midfielder. He had contributions in almost all the goals we scored in regulation time. Abeg let us know if somebody paid you to rubbish him, which won't work anyway.

Personally, I blamed the failure on coach because he made his selection with a very lean midfield. Onuachu, Musa, and co. shouldn't have made it to this tournament and have creative midfielders in their place to give our team a strong spine

@@adewaleadesanya5121 guy before the final Osimhen had chances that normally he would have converted. But he was simply not in his best through out this tournament. Osimhen still remains top class but this tournament he wasn't in his best simple.

Stop capping. We all know Osimehn could have had more goals if he was selfish. Someone who won 2 P.k's, provided an assist and scored over 4 goals disallowed for offside or a foul ( still pressure mounted by our offense). The team was more important thats why he had to run way over 5km then any other striker in the tournament. Tell me who would have done his job better that he did.

Saidu, Chukweze, and Iwobi did nothing in this game. Shouldn't have been in the starting lineup. Paseiro can't keep playing defensive football to remain our coach.

The coach is not creative. I expected him to start Iheanacho n Lookman at the wing, Moffe startingn Osinmen should come in second half, replace Iheanacho with Chukwueze. Moses Simon has no business coming in.

Peseiro has to be blamed and I would explain why. First half was one of the most awful football the Super eagles have ever played but we were lucky to get a goal due to a courageous play by Troost. Seeing the miracle which was the first half and leading 1-0, I expected him to make 3 subs at half time (Omeruo, Yusuf and Simon) for ( Chukwueze, Iwobi and Lookman). These changes would matched Ivory coast in the middle for physicality while we pack the bus and hope for Osimehn and Simon to stretch them at the other end but Peseiro was just not smart enough or too stuborn. How can we play a final and be defending all game only for one outfield player to get a yellow card? Look back at Jose Mourinho's team when parking the bus, you had atleast 7 or 8 players with yellow cards and winning the physical battle ( Which we only 1 outfield player for Nigeria got a yellow card, so shameful).

I am pround of the Super Eagles! They tried even though they looked tired. I still dont agree that Ivory Coast deserved to win. I am never happy when a host makes it to final. It taints a tournament honestly. We look on to Morocco 2025 . Ivory Coast will only be champions for just 1 year lets face it.

They were better than Nigeria. The weakest link today was "Aina" as he was mesmerized throughout by that Ivorian player. He was too tired to run and lost balls to them. For crying out loud why will the super eagles be soaking up pressure from first half until they scored us and we suddenly came alive after they had scored their second goal....so much to call out tho
