What is Omerua still doing in that team? Why did Tella not play any minute? Why was Lookman benched throughout? I think Finidi and the team were told to loss this game to strengthen the advocacy for a foreign coach. Amuneke should go find a West African Country national team to coach because Finidi seem to have secured his place as the assistant to the new foreign coach by this loss. Finidi has betrayed all indigenous coaches for the NFF , just to remain as the assistant.

It is true finidi was testing some players. But having been with the team for sometime, we should have seen some technicality in play. The defence was poor though The boys did some work. But in my overall assessment, i don't think finidi should handle this team. We need a better coach that is technically sound.

Another disaster await us if any pf these flops including Amunike becomes Super Eagles coach. They just don't have what it takes to take us to the next level. We were hyping Eguavon after he won the 3 matches at the group stage of the last but one Afcon. We saw what happened next. The guy hyping these guys is a guy whose era of football now belongs to football dustbin. Odegbami played football in the 80's and he remains stucked in the past by unnecessarily advocating for an indigenous coach simply because he wants to showcase his nationalistic credentials knowing fully that non of these guys got what it takes to move us forward.

Amuneke should be considered for Us. Finidi is finished tactically. I think we know Amuneke kind of Football. I couldn't figure out the pattern played. Iwobi is the only player I see from this match. The guy is everywhere trying to help the defense and also playing deep into attack. We need good midfielders. I suggest That Victor Boniface be converted to midfielder for Nigeria.

Super Eagle should stop the attitude of passing balls to their goalkeeper, especially when the opponents are within. This attitude of passing ball around inside your 18 should stop, I don't know who they want to impress inside your own 18box. Look at the first gaol, for instance. A goalkeeper picked a ball instead of playing it out to the midfield. He passed the ball to the defender, who then passed it back to the keeper, then you started to struggle, unnecessary show of confidence that you can't even defend.

The guy that played Nigeria's number 2 position is not fit to b on the reserve team, let alone play for d super eagles. He made alot of errors in d game, 2 of his errors led to the opponent's goals. Also, d strikers were wasteful. The midfield department of super eagles did an above average job. I think we need a new technical adviser, may b in d person of Amuneke.

One thing you've got to realise is that most of these players are not playing top notch football in Europe..In the English Premiership for instance, their teams are those in the bottom or lower rung of the ladder or in the lower division ( Leicester city was relegated from the Premiership to the Championship where they are now). And our players there are not marketable.. This team lack any playmaker in the midfield and that is where they put the foot wrong mostly.. Alex Iwobi was doing his best hovering around and passing balls. But he was losing some balls as well. He wasn't strong enough to hold the midfield that has up to 3 or 4 Malians.. The first goal was defensive error of giving the ball away. And the second was another loss of ball. And the Nigerian boys were usually not keen to put pressure on the ball to mark the opponent.. Thereby giving the Malians the opportunity to take advantage.. We do not have the great players of the likes of Jay-Jay Okocha, Kanu, West Baba yarọ, Amokachi, Oliseh any more.. Is Iwobi supposed to be defensive or attacking midfielder?? I hope the handlers can answer that question. The good thing is that this is a friendly and that is an opportunity for the handlers to see the best they can do with the team.
