The crux of the Islamic Dilemma argument is that the Qur'an affirms the preservation, inspiration and authority of the Torah and the Gospel yet we see that the Qur'an also contradict the previous scriptures on major theological and historical teachings. Therefore, the Qur'an can't be reliable. The reason why the Qur'an was revealed was to confirm what Allah had already revealed to the Jews and Christians so that the Arab people have no excuse on the day of Judgement. So, we see that the Qur'an teaches the inspiration, preservation and authority of the previous scriptures. So here is the dilemma for our Muslim friends: - If the previous scriptures are the inspired, preserved authoritative word of God then the Qur'an is false because it contradicts the previous scriptures on major theological and historical teachings. - If the previous scriptures are not the inspired, preserved authoritative word of God then the Qur'an is false because it teaches that the previous scriptures are inspired, preserved and authoritative. To my understanding Christ is saying the gospel is everything he just mentioned. healing the broken hearted, setting captives free, giving sight to the blind etc are 'subcategories' of the gospel. They are testaments/ a taste of what God has to offer his people, those who trust in him. The good news is that we are all invited to the 'ceremony' to be healed, to be freed, to be comforted to be gifted eternal life through Christ. That not just the Jew but the gentile too can be sons and daughters of the Most High if we chose to accept the invitation. John 3:16 in a nutshell.

Simile Christians need to challenge. Muslims who claim injeel given by Jesus for Jews only was in Aramaic as injeel is Grecian derived word translated into Arabic and not an Aramaic derived word by which Muslims believe the Quran was sent down in.
