Researches have been made in the us marine corps on women in combat. Units with female soldiers are less likely to succeed compared with an all male unit. An all female unit is worse. Battle field is not the Olympics where we bring our female team and our enemies bring their female team. The enemies we face here are so inhumane that they would do the unthinkable even to the male soldiers. Am not saying women soldiers are not useful but putting them in our front line is unthinkable. Even the Israelis don't do it yet.

Specific roles for women should be centered and concentrated at intelligence not in frontier combat. Women in combat should be voluntary. You have no idea what it mean if a comrade who should watch ur back chicken out in battle just one can fall a whole battalion

Brother, everyone is trained primarily as a combatant, both male n females, incase u find yourself an a combat area carrying out ur duty, u will be able to at least make use of ur fieldcraft. In Liberia, nigerian army women combatants paratrooper were used to infiltrate through the Presidents residents, and got him arrested. Women n men needs training, no matter how the area is. I can tell u a story of my experience wit my female coursemate here in the Northeast, that lady saved our lives wit her fieldcraft(training).

Secondly in as much as women are trained to defend themselves in combat during their 6month training in depot kaduna. The don't have the basic infantry skills to be effective.
