Correct babe, the whole content is very much needed, I think another subject that should be addressed is the pantry craze. We all need to beware.

That pantry thing, we don’t do that o. Tying money down for things we don’t need. We buy what we need as we go and that has been working well for us.

The noodles one, l have not been able to adjust my tastebuds so I still buy from the African store. Interesting discovery about the pap, I will try. Thank you Oyin.

That noodles if you love onion flavour u obviously can’t get a taste of that here 🤣 their noodles can be like ours. Try the pap just soak it ahead of usage and u are good to go

I found this highly informative. Thanks Oyinda. About the bread, there is one Walmart sells.for 3.67. it is better than that Fournee brioche. It's called d'Italiano brioche. Also agree with you about carnation.

Thank you for watching. I’m so going to find the one you just recommended and it’s even cheaper💃🏻

@@oyindamolaalao Sure, if you need me to snap it, I can do that too

For the bread, you could search for Grey Matlock bread. It's a Canadian agege bread made by a Nigerian. It also comes in sliced form.
@oyindamolaalao8 ай бұрын
Yeah sure but Matlock bread is expensive small 🤣

You can also try D’Italiano brioche bread, a bit cheaper than the one you mentioned.

Thanks Oyin. I usually get Semo from Bulk barn. And its quite pricy, now ive gotten an cheaper alternative. This is very informative..saving for when next i go shopping.

Bulk barn is kinda expensive o, once you see the Semo in Walmart pack as much as possible for a while, it doesn’t last long there cos all of us are finding it o😀😀

You really covered a lot👏👏 See that No name brand ehn, their products are usually of good quality and way cheaper. I use their evaporated milk, tomato paste, Hotdog, spaghetti, rice and aa lot more. I haven't got an alternative for our titus/sardine yet tho...any ideas?
@oyindamolaalao9 ай бұрын
That no name brand is the best o. Their affordability should be studied. I saw Titus somewhere in superstore, just not tried it to know if it’s like our Titus. Hopefully will find something out

Please any substitute for red oil 😢
@oyindamolaalao9 ай бұрын
You cracked me up so bad🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can read your frustration in this msg. My sister, not everything will have substitute and red oil is part of it. I feel Mayb soon we should find tho
@readaloud70179 ай бұрын
If you are like me, palm oil can sometimes be just for colour, I have substituted with red peppers in beans, okro and vegetable soup.
