How is Nigerian cuisine differ from Caribbean cuisine like Jamaica Barbados and Trinidad

Some ingredients and food items are not available in the Caribbean but they seem to have similar counterparts on a specie level. I also think because Nigeria is quite large, and has states that experience different climates, the variety of food produced is also vast which reflects in the dishes we make. For example, the southern areas may use more seafood in their dishes vs the northern and middle belt that incorporate more grains combined with animal proteins. It’s different from the Caribbean but with similar roots.
