I am strongly of the opinion that the way we go about religion in Africa is part of the reason we are still where we are. Hopefully when followers of different religious groups become more and more educated, they will understand that to question or interrogate actions or preachings of leaders does not necessarily lead to hell especially when the intention is to understand. The Bible and many other Holy Books encourage the quest for knowledge as the saying goes "study to show thyself approved", "seek knowledge". Religion in itself is not bad:be it Christianity, Islam etc. However, some selfish religious leaders have exploited the fact that many people see the religious leader as a god that cannot be questioned or challenged and thereby exploit such weaknesses. Let us try to read the Word also, so that when it is being manipulated one can be guided. I appreciate this presenter Adeola for the comic way she presents this ills in our society and hope many of us get wiser.

There are men and women with no or a few kids but have stolen from Nigeria and the Nigerian people.. The Apostle Paul warned of these days: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth” (2 Tim. 4:3-4). Paul also taught that the Lord “gave some, apostles; and some, prophets …BUT Jesus cautioned several times that prior to His Second Coming, “many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many” (Matt. 24:11). They will pop up out of the woodwork with Gucci shoes while Jesus walked in sandals and He never boasted, He was humble and never walked around looking like an effeminate.

My ancestors are true because I have seen some of them, and I know they existed. That's a fact. The universe is orderly in a unique chaotic way, so there is probably a god. There is no historical evidence that jesus existed, and many verses in the Bible are allegories, galatians 4:21...with serious scientific blunders, starting with genesis. This shows the bible was not written by God. Some pastors know this; they do not believe in jesus and that is why they do what they do - Exploit gullible followers.
