Hello madam, you said "mein gujarat mein born hu". Who says "born hu" ?? It is "paida hui hu". Your hindi, I am sorry madam, is very bad. And this is me, a south indian saying that to you. @RichPerspectives , why did you have to find literally the worst Indian representation my man? These NRIs (Non resident Indians) don't know how to speak their own language properly. So, next time please bring in someone who is authentic and well versed in hindi. She seems to be struggling to get basic hindi words right.

You did very well. Dont get demotivated by your achievement. Its just not possible to learn a language in 10 days. Language is a very massive entity and takes a lot of time to cover everything. If you didn't have knowledge of Urdu, it would be even more difficult to speak and understand Hindi. Right now I am at Day 4 of learning Hindi, and I am still focusing on script. Before starting learning any language, its written script must be addressed immediately, its new sounds and writing patterns etc. If you don't do this, over the months and years you learn the new language, it will keep hurting you again and again, and you progress will be slower. ABCs in any language are the first basic building blocks of any language. Always get the basic building blocks first before moving to upper level.

Urdu and HIndi are not different languages they are 2 different standard forms of a single language Hindustani, its just that standard Urdu has more persian words and Hindi more Sanskrit but both indo aryan language and are ultimately came from Sanskrit
@user-oq2rk7ep8f4 ай бұрын
So true. To add on: Persian comes from ancient Persian which is a sister language to Sanskrit.

the script that hindi uses is Devnagri which uses the writing system alphasyllabary native to india, and given by us to south east asia too, its the best writing system in the world especially in terms of how powerful and organically it works, u can write much much more sounds phonetically compare to how much letters u learn, u just have to learn the sounds of vowel, consonant letter and vowel-attachable symbols, and how the consonant-vowel symbol system works

Kudos to you, man! Great narrating style and editing; you remind me of Matt D'Avella! Coming to Hindi, you obviously did a fantastic job. However, the person you're interacting with clearly has poor Hindi skills. That's not a surprise since she is not a native speaker (Marathi is her first language), but to improve your skills, it'd be far better if you speak with someone who is a native speaker of Hindi. Also, many people use 'Bharat' for India, including myself (I'm only 21). She's unaware of that because she lives outside the Hindi heartland. Finally, Bharat mein aapka swagat hai! भारत में आपका स्वागत है!

Alphabets are little hard but it's better than English s spellings because you don't need spellings if once you learn alphabets that you speak same you can write
