I think the myth about first pancakes is busted. I don't always subscribe to myths anyways. I like the way you make your pancakes. Since we have a busy life, I just buy the one that is already mixed. All I need to do is add water and fry on the skillet or frying pan. My daughter made this your style of pancakes over the weekend and it tasted really good. I trust that this pancake will be yummy and delicious. Thanks for sharing Flo.
@pricelessify77994 жыл бұрын
Yeah me too I buy the mix and keep it going.
@FloChinyere4 жыл бұрын
Chibuike that one that is already mixed does not have the texture of Nigerian pancakes. No matter how busy I am, I will never buy it because I don't like the texture of the resulting pancakes it makes. Above all, you know how I feel about already mixed something LOL I like to know what goes into my body. To save time, I mix more and freeze half and we use that one during the week. I will never be too busy for what goes into my body. That is why when people ask me what I do about my body, it feels like a waste of time sharing because my lifestyle is quite strict and very few people can adhere to it due to the so called busy world we live in. I may not come out and say "this is what I do to look the way I look" in every video but it's all in these tiny details.
@ChibuikeUlasi4 жыл бұрын
@@FloChinyere You are absolutely right about the taste. It is not as tasty as the Nigerian pancake. I am definitely making your Nigerian pancake recipe this morning. The pancakes Kosi made last week was very very delicious. Thank you so much for explaining in detail why and how you choose to make your pancakes in a certain way. I love and appreciate you ❤️.

Thank you so much for sharing nne. I made these weeks ago and I am among the people that add onions and lots of pepper. I also add liquid milk instead of water just for onu uto😜. Another thing I do because of laziness is adding oil like I am making akara and fry 5 at a time with a big pan. Don't have patience to do it one at a time and I make lots of it and put in the fridge. I use paper towel to squeeze out oil when I warm in the microwave before eating and I enjoy it with custard. All the same, yours look so yummy and came out real good👍👍. I have learnt a lot from your videos.

I’m watching on the big screen, my hubby walks by and said “why is she adding pepper? “ I answered because it’s Nigerian pancake 😁. I never had pancakes growing up in Nigeria. I saw it as oyinbo food😁. I’m forwarding this video right now to my sisters in Nigeria. They too will start eating oyinbo food. You always make it super easy with your well explained instructions. LOL @ your hubby's question. You never had pancakes in Naija? The woman that sold this after school at my secondary school gate made a killing from me and my fellow students. That one was loaded with sliced fresh pepper and onions and known as Diet. Chai o! This was in the 80s, I guess these kinds of school snacks have disappeared because modern parents don't let their "protected" kids buy them. 😂
