Rashaenka you saw in the video that we were not scared. We even joked about him carrying a gun. Every person is not a kidnapper please. I don't know why people think that Nigeria is all about kidnapping. Most kidnappings are by people who know the victim.

Thank you for this tour, @Flo Chinyere. Brings nostalgic feelings. I really miss home (I currently live in the USA). I used to frequent that Nnewi-Ozubulu Road while I was a Madonna University Student in the early 2000's. I am from Amichi, and so I ride all through these roads with my motorcycle. Chai! How time flies! I wanna relive those memories. I wish.

Thank you Flo, I have thoroughly enjoyed Parts 1 & 2. Nnewi IS beautiful! Your Nnewi adventure brought back so many memories. I'm from Calabar, but my family lived in Lagos when I was very young. Every Christmas, we'd drive from Lagos to Calabar through Benin, Enugu, Onitsha. Some of the destinations you labelled on your journey sound familiar. I wonder if it's because, on our Xmas journey, we would always stop at Enugu, and my dad would always take us to visit a couple of his good friends - one of whom he called "Franco". Franco and his family, and dad's other Ibo friend (can't remember his name), always received us soooooo warmly. Happy memories. THANK YOU :)

Hi Flo, I came upon your vlog by accident but then got hooked when I saw that you had a vlog about my beloved Nnewi. I live in Pennsylvania USA but visit most Decembers. I saw you made several mention of the buildings in Nnewi. Before I departed for the USA, years ago, as an architect I designed and constructed several buildings for clients so I felt like I am also a contributor to the landscape you mentioned. Anyway, I enjoyed your vlog and have watched a few more. Keep it up. Alfred Obiora Uzokwe, Pennsylvania

I love Africa for Africa. I pray that places like those that you have shown will NEVER turn into something that looks like New York or even Abuja. I love the BEAUTY of Africa as it is. Yes, roads and bridges are beneficial and needful for reasons beyond superficial esthetics. However, I pray that in the course of providing the necessary infrastructure they will not destroy the true beauty Africa and cause the REAL Africa to become obsolete. Thanks for sharing!

GraceTruthTeacher This is what I keep saying. Sadly, the change has already gone too far in my village. When I was younger, only people we knew lived around us. Mostly kinsmen, with a few people from other places. Now I ask whose house I see here or there, and I hear about someone who’s from a different town or state. People now sell their birthright (land) to just anybody. Instead of vegetation, I now see tall buildings, with tenants. Tenants!

I am from Nnewi, all my ancestors are from Anambra. The reason why we are great is because we never look down on our hometown or call it ''village'', to us, it is home and whatever we want to build, we build it there. Whether the roads are paved o or not paved, we remain VERY proud of our hometown and that pride helps us to keep improving it. Everything you see was built by Nnewi indigines. I have three houses there which would have made me more money in Lagos, but Lagos was not built in a day, so small small the value of my Nnewi houses will go up, if others keep investing in Nnewi. Amazing video, Dalu Nwanyi Anambra

There is an entrance to Chikason at 7:22, you will see the signboard. During my secondary school we went on excursion there, that was when i saw much use of palm kernels, the oil, the oil residue and the cake, apart from that Chikason does many things, Az engine oil, plastics, toilet soaps, vegetables oil, I think poultry feeds too, and lot's of things,,,. That stadium was actually built by Gabriel Chukwuma(Gabros), elder Bro to Innocent Chukwuma(Innoson), used by Gabros international Fc until recently Ifeanyi Uba bought both and changed it to Ifeanyi Uba Fc&stadium.

We had just half an hour to drive around Nnewi hence no time for stopovers. I came to Nnewi for a meeting and had to do this for my Nnewi people that were asking for it. I also had to rush to Awka for another meeting.

Unfortunately, you did not address the reason why Nnewi is the richest town not only in Nigeria but even in Africa, If New York as big as it is, has only 68 billionaires including all the immigrants from other states in the USA then little Nnewi that has nothing less than 10 billionaires that are indigenes should be among the wealthiest town in the world by indigenes though Igbos don't declare their wealth but with your eye you can clearly see their worth

Flo, I enjoyed this visit. Though I'm in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean I felt as if I was there with you. Thank you for this emotional connection. It is my desire to visit the Homeland of my grandfather before I die. I appreciate this. God continue to bless you. Dianne from T&T.

My dear sisters thanks for the great work. I’m from Nnewi and I have little correction about the villages in Nnewi. Nnewi is comprise of four autonomous community or four clanes and each community or clane have about 14 to over 20 villages and each of those villages have their chiefs that rules them. Each community have their Obi/ king, the Obi rules that section of Nnewi. Nnewi have four royal family/Obis and they have their royal palace. 1. Obi of Otolo Nnewi(is the Igwe Nnewi himself) 2. Obi of Uruagu Nnewi 3. Obi of Umudim Nnewi 4. Obi of Nnewichi Nnewi All the Obis rules autonomously. for any local decision that has to do with Nnewi in general must have three Obis to agree..
