Nigeria succeeds because of the full eco system of artistes, beatmakers, producers, choreographers, and video filmmakers! So you have TG Omori, Jyde Ajala, Poco Lee, Don Jazzy, Kel P, Pheelz, Young Jon, Fiokee( guitarist) being stars in their own right within the Naija music industry! The artistes themselves also key in onto each other and I believe Nigerian artists collabo with each other more than any other artistes from other countries in Africa! This sets the template for recognition and promotion of the Naija music industry at home and abroad! Greetings to King Sark though!!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

@@safiibrahim1778 First of all, there’s nothing they started that Nja has adapted to the current Afrobeats or any contemporary music. Ghanaians have this attitude of self entitlement. They are always giving BS excuses to dull their pains bcos of their mediocre performances in all entertainment spheres that have taking them nowhere. Sarkodie is not the first artiste making this frivolous comment. Even Stonebow once said Ghana “Azonte” was South Africa rebranded “Amanpiano.” Everything Ghana started it. Very soon they will say they created the earth. People with a myopic mindset. Secondly, by now you would have noticed that I am too sophisticated to be lectured on the difference btw “copied” and “adaptive.” So go take your lecture to the birds.
@chrisa73239 ай бұрын
Most artiste do not blow overnight Sarkodie can tell you this. Ghana has a lot of talent too, just like Nigeria but certain Ghanaians need to stop putting down their own artiste. Afrobeat is Afrobeat so there is not need to label it Nigerian music, Ghana music or foreign music, it's African music. Instead of competing with each other you are suppose join forces unite and build the foundation to make it stronger. Concentrate on the quality and promotion which is the key to success. I think more Ghana artiste need to travel outside of Ghana to be heard by others because being local only reaches a small minority.
@adychiamaka93949 ай бұрын
A Ghana artist don't need to travel for their music to be heard. If their music is that good it will find it way into the heart of people and will travel round the world Nigerian artist stay in their country to make their music and because they are good in what they do, the music just steal listeners heart and still travels round the world and this is because they are very good
