I've live in Europe for a very long time and in my honest opinion, what we get in return for what we sacrifice isn't worth it. Even when you work, the bills and taxes take the money. They chickens and beef don't taste like ours. The weather is cold, the people are cold, they don't treat black people well, they don't give us opportunities, the fruits are GMO seedless and tasteless. We miss out on important family events, we miss the warmth, we don't really live, we exist in Europe for the sake of currency. I am on my way home and most black people around the world including African Africans are starting to realise that America and Europe isn't conducive for black people.

Regional government is the only solution to our problems in Nigeria. One Nigeria, it doesn't work. Each state in America controlling their police, military, taxes, education and have their own laws. In Nigeria what do u get? Hausa/Fulani control the Nigeria. In United Kingdom, 4 nations in one country, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each nation have their own currency, language, ministers, education and tax generated reinvestment back to where taxed generates. What did u get in Nigeria? Many nations in one country. let yorubas rules themselves. Let igbos rules themselves, let other tribes rules themselves as well in Nigeria that is going to bring peace to Nigeria.
@obiflex5 жыл бұрын
Thank you my brother. I like Yorubas that reason independently like this. Others are busy bashing Igbos for saying the same thing that you're saying. If the people of Southern Nigeria do not unite and break up from this country to govern their respective regions, the Hausa /Fulani will run us to the ground and eventually bring war to us
@kbeautician5 жыл бұрын
Yes. This is good. Europe and US try to portray “tribal” as “primitive” however they are tribal..just weaker so they promote a “unified” façade. The whole one government “world” was busted up since the tower of Babel. The corruption river flows to and from those who support such “one” governmentness. Mark them.

Don't isolate yourself. There are people who have been through what you might be facing right now and they overcame it. Don't push people away, surround yourself with people who are spiritually mature and get the help that you need. Isolation when you are in pain and don't know if there's a way out is dangerous and that's why we have suicide cases. Listen, there's nothing that you can be facing that God is not able to solve for with God nothing is impossible. Hold on. Jesus loves you.

Dr Dapo, well said. We devalue ourselves by accepting whatever label international bodies puts on us. until, we start taking stands and retaliating on certain diplomatic issues, we will not be respected. I remember when SA deported some Nigerians (All because of yellow card) and Jonathan retaliated. I guess it. forced the SA to behave. We need actions, not the blaming of Nigerians after been treated badly.

We need to as a state policy restrict all politicians and business men from travels to the U.S & Europe, visas should be reserved for only urgent state matters and limited for even that purpose. We need to also review and update our immigration policies to be well matched on reciprocity from each country. To be taking serious , you need to love yourself , have one voice , treat your own people with dignity , value the life of your own citizens within the country , help the weak/ poor among u , be united and have a common developmental goal . All this is lacking in that nation Nigeria. I remember one time I arrived at MM airport with other Nigerians and foreign nationals . They allowed the foreign nationals mostly ( Indians , Lebanese ) to pass through the border patrol before us (Nigerians) in our own country , standing up (immigration officers) for them and shouting welcome to Nigeria . No other country I have been on the face of this earth does that abnormalities , that was the day I swear to check out . The rest has become a story . Charity begins from home .

Jesus Christ arose from the dead, He is alive and is the only Messiah, the King of kings, the Beginning and the End. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the whole world. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, invite Him into your heart/life today. Wherever you are, He can hear you for He is everywhere. Remember Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to God the Father. Nigerians are #1 in visa overstays in the US. Over 29,000 cases in 2018. That is why America does not want Nigerians. Fix Nigerian roads. Build broadband Internet, and make it affordable to everyone. Cut senators' salaries. Spend the money on Nigeria's infrastructure. If we can do these three things, the rest of our problems would eventually be resolved. Quality private hospitals would start to spring up. People would have jobs, and able to afford medical treatment. Corruption in govt would reduce, since worker salaries would earn them a good living.

The speaker hit the nail on the head by describing Nigeria as a "paper nation". That's the simple truth. Nigeria is not and will never be a viable nation. Too big, too many built in conflicts. It is a state created by and for the British and was always designed to be a divided nation so that it was easier for them to rule. The truth is, it was never designed to be an effective nation state to be run effectively by we indigenous Africans. Nigeria will forever be a weak nation because it is led by a class of people who only play lip service to the idea of a nation state and are more interested in self interest and personal enrichment than the good of the country as a whole. I say again, Nigeria cannot work as a country. It is an artificial nation that has limped along since 1960 under the illusory belief that things will improve. It cannot. It will not. The people in power and those pulling their strings have far too much to lose if the ordinary people had a real say in the country's affairs.

How can America or any serious country take our country Nigeria serious with the kind of president and leaders we have? Can Buhari coherently and soundly engage Trump in a one hour bilateral conversation and secure a deal from Trump? Despite the glaring accomplishments of Nigerians in America, it's sad that American government still looks down on our country particularly due to the obvious low mental capacity of our president. Can't you see the respect Ghana and Rwanda are attracting as a result of quality representatives they have in their presidents? It breaks my heart.
