I know I overthink journals at times and feel I need to add every piece of my arsenal to a junk journal, but simplicity is regularly the winner for me, it allows the beauty of the art in the digitals to shine through! Loving this little project. I think I would have put a bit of clear sellotape or packing tape over the ribbon to help whatever you put in there to slide in and out easier. Oh my, you make fussy cutting look so easy, it's something I really struggle with. Can't wait to see the next instalment.

I would probably use the journal to store tags. I'm trying to organize my ephemera and there are some tags that can be used in almost any journal. This would be a good place to store them. I like to cut ephemera sometimes when I'm not in the mood to work on a journal or do any kind of thinking. LOL ❤
