We are all afraid of revolution. We are all way too fucking comfortable. Change is always possible, but change is scary, Stepping out of your comfort zone. Daring to question the rank and file of your daily existence. Daring to shout out slogans, in the name of the ultimate freedom. Daring to often think outside the goddamned box. Because freedom is a State of Mind.

@tracydukeplump "Autobiography of Malcom X" narrated by James Earl Jones - probably the best documentary on Malcom there was. Excellent - well worth your time.

i love to c images of afrikan peoples in the 60's and 70's. we seem so beautiful, strong and proud, even when we didn't have much. Now the media has turned a lot of us in2 baffoons.

The Last Poet who said this poem, I had the good fortune to have seen at the Last Poets 40 anniversary celebration. The up & coming young poet Autumn Ashante was also there. It's interesting how ignorant African-americans & racist whites are calling her a racist. Simply because she happens to mention in her poetry, racism in the period of it's extremism, during the times of George Washington & Thomas Jefferson & all those other slave owner "founding fathers". Oh, &, currently she's only 15 .
