Caught my first sea trout tonight here in clear water Florida! Remember seeing this video a while back and used a similar rig with my setup and had some success! Thanks for posting!

Hey Mike.., this is the guy who lives in OB and only a 5 minute drive to the Granada pier. I went the other morning and caught 5 blues. But, no Sea Trout or Snook. This Friday or Saturday night when the sun goes dn, that’s where I’ll be. You’re making me crazy with all the good fish you’re catching. I’m gonna get live shrimp and fish with a popping cork. I kid you not.., I hv lived here for over 25 years and hv fished there 100’s of times without the luck you have. I guess the secret is night fishing there. When I saw this new video, I was like.., oh no, not again. This guy must be the luckiest or best fisherman ever to walk the planet. Ok.., enough about my bad luck or fishing skills.., night time it is for me this weekend. I’ll let you know. 🤞🏼 Btw.., another great video.

thanks man , good luck out there , iv'e only done good at night there - tried during the day again and only small mangrove snappers and puffers again . just try all the lights - one of them should hold at least a few trout

Will do. Hv you been down to Mosquito Lagoon in New Smyrna Beach? I don’t hv a boat but I may hire a guide. They say the fishing is great there. So in April or May gonna give it a try. Maybe 45 minute drive south of Ormond. Thx buddy

Great pier now that it's finished. Long time coming. Going back again now that it's finished. Just North of where I live right at the Main St. Bridge, Daytona Beach. Tom DB, FL.

It's cool seeing you fish the same place that I do. Caught a couple sheepshead there back in February. I'll be back down in June. Actually bought a place not far from there in Astor.

i got a 18" drum there last year , i was up in astor last year , the company i drive for owns castaways and let me use their boats for free - i only fished about an hour but i was covered in sweat and couldn't even see so i took a ride to silver springs to cool off -thats way way too hot for me

@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures Oh wow. Yeah we usually hang out at the beach or springs in the hot months. The winter is when the fishing is good and the weather is perfect. My folks have been spending the winters in Astor for 20 years. That's what I'm hoping to do one day!

Caught a handful of them the other night...very easy to spot on piers where there are lights shining in the water....they will pop the surface of the water or glide slightly and you cam see them..
